On the above topic shows which is the RPM wire on the ECU harness.
Example of a way to connect the Window Switch
If I remember correctly you should use only 4 wires of the Window Switch.
Yellow= To the ground wire of the relay (it could be a 4 or 5 pin relay) used with your Nitrous Control Unit. In other words this yellow wire will be the ground source of your relay.
White= To the Rpm wire that is on the upper link in the ECU harness
Red= You can use an extra toggle switch or the same one of that came with the N2O kit. I suggest to use a 12V-30A 4 or 5 pin relay between the Toggle Switch and the other components, just for extra safety.
Black= To the nearest ground source.
Also remember that the on module should be 3,000RPM the off module I suggest 300rpm below the fuel cutoff also know as rev limiter. For the SI (without hondata reflash) 8,000RPM in my opinion is the safest off setting and for the reflashed SI 8300RPM. I know that is hard but if you want to enjoy your nitrous setup this sacrifice is worth it.
The installation on the Civic is quite simple the most difficult part is the RPM wire but since the ECU is accessible in the engine bay isn't that bad.
Dude, Get the hell out of here with your comments so early in the morning, I have had 6 Turbo Cars before, dont come preach in my thread. I dont need you advice, I didnt ask for it here, Just need some help with some wiring.
Hey everyone. I’m looking at going F/I on my SI coupe but I’m still deciding on if I want to turbo charge it or supercharge it. Anyways I was searching and came across this Rev9 turbo kit on EBay. It’s soecifically for the Rsx but says will work for out cars with modification to the inter cooler...
So i recently boosted my fa5 and am running a hondata boost solenoid. I am confused on how you are able to add a pin into the harness. how do u take the plastic out from the back of the harness to allow you to push any pins thru??
i have a 2008 civic si and have been told by a few people that you can not get 400 whp on the stock motor. is this true? could you do it with a turbo kit if so are the kits true. i want to know if the kits are just making it sound like you can and if you do would it be reliable and not destroy...
I just got mine today, so I decided I will share. There's alot of talk about them on the forums. It's an ingenious piece of work that replaces the timing chain cover and sends the oil down the passenger side of the engine into the pan.
For those like me who hate the GReddy banjo plug...
I was in this place once. Tons of people on this board were on this place once. It's the place where you want to turbo your car (or even SC) and you want to cheap out. Or your on a tight budget. Simply put - stop. It wont work.
about a month ago, I tried cheaping out to find myself a Greddy...
