Considering relocating to the bay area. Just wondering what inspection/emissions are like since Ive heard its much more intensive than Illinois.

Anything I could hassled for that otherwise would go overlooked here?

Im not heavily modified.

Thanks in advance for any info and tips.

In a nutshell:
Intake must have CARB EO for to pass visual.

Exhaust:
Stock cat required.
Thanks for the replies! Now to just find an honest shop. I have trust issues lol

Glad it isnt worse than expected and it would suck to be lowered here that is true

Depending where you are in the bay area I know of the following:

Pit row (rent you own lift) for DIY - never been but cool concept.
Japanese beetle www.JapaneseBeetle.com - I had a stuck brake rotor screw and they removed if for free! (I left a tip as a thank you). Very good reviews on yelp.

Nice and nice! Definitely gona try out pit row if I get some time. Japanese beetle does look good, found San Carlos Auto Performance the other day and am pretty happy.

Said they were open to doing mods as well which made me happy haha
