Amsoil anyone?

I might have a small hook up for Amsoil products. This guy is one of the vendor's to TCC and his pricing is very good. Shipping to your home can be added or you can pick up the order at the distribution centre in Mississauga.

If anyone is interested, I can post his price's and contact info once I get the ok from him.

Cheers
Mike

For you guys in the US, Amsoil products are already pretty cheap and much easier to get. It is not sold many places here in Canada and I don't think it would even be financially smart to buy it from a Canadian vendor.

Anyway, this is what I am getting and how much I will pay in CDN funds...

5quarts ASL 5W30 @ 7.05 = 35.25
http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/asl.aspx
2 quarts MTF @ 8.50 = 17.00
https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mtf.aspx
Estimated freight = 8.00
Subtotal = 60.25
Total, including freight and taxes = 68.70

5quarts TSO 0W30 @ 9.45= 47.25

2 quarts MTF @ 8.50 = 17.00
Estimated freight = 8.00
Subtotal = 72.25
Total, including freight and taxes = 82.36

EAO13 oilfilter $15.50

Pretty decent I think. You guys inthe GTA can save yourself the freight because I think you can pick up your order from the warehouse in Mississauga.

I am ordering it through Carst Performance Synthetics, which is an independant dealer here in Hamilton. You can place the order through this guy Cam that runs Carst. The order can be shipped directly to you, or you can pick it up at the warehouse (he can tell you where it is). I'll be picking mine up from his home because he lives near me.

I'm getting the ASL. Its a bit cheaper and and it will be warm soon, so no need for the 0W instead of the 5W. The TSO does have a longer interval, but I will still be changing it on a regular basis. I've notived that the Maint Minder tends to stretch out the oil change intervals, so I figure a quality oil is a must.
