The guy at the dealership told me that the LX and EX have the exact same 16" alloy wheels (I'm in Canada). Is that true?

Also, how are the upgrade 17" rims?

Here in the US the LX does not have alloys.

Not sure about Canada.

Thanks for the info. Makes my decision tougher between the LX and EX coupe. I don't mind the 16" alloys, they look good- and I don't exactly have the cash inflow to change them anytime soon. If I get can LX and then put on my own rims and sound system, it would work out to an EX cost. Plus then I get the other goodies like steering wheel audio controls.

Any opinions?

Can always have them as nice winter tires when/if I decide to modify.

yeah its good that u get alloys cause hubs are bad, but they are usually 1st on the modify list

I tend to disagree. On my last civic, I had alloys, and if you drove it in slushy stuff, then let it set overnight, the slushy stuff would freeze to the rim and through your rim off balance. I had to go to the car wash and hit my rims with the power wash atleast twice a week during the winter. With the steel rims, the stuff comes right off once you get moving, for somereason it only sticks to the alloy rims.
