I've done this numerous times...
but when i look at the fuse box in my car i dont see a single spot to place the power anywhere! Usually theres 2 rows... first row is connected right to the battery, second row comes on when ignition is turned on.

Do i have to take the bottom plate of the steering area off? i can see the fuse box... just no spot for additional equipment.

Please help! Thanks in advance!

They make thing's call fuse link's that you hook up to your fuse box. You just take out a fuse and plug it in and you can rub a power wire off of it and ground what ever you are hooking up to your car some were. I used two fuse link's for my gauges, one for constant power and one for when I turn the car on. They come with install instruction's and it is really easy.

splitting 1 cigarette into 2 will make 2 cig plugs share the same fuse. 10 amps. so u have 5 amps use in each socket.

i would do a rewire from the battery straight inside with heavy duty wires. that way i can power up more than 120watts (12v x 10 amps)
