It busted the welds on the bracket that bolts to the firewall.

lol.

I hate this clutch. I think it's a faulty pressure plate, or they gave me the wrong one. It's always been stupid hard to press the pedal since i got it... and it's only a CC stage 2.

Ok, major update:

I got my uncle to weld it back, and for good measure we put a weld across the other side.

THIS SOLVED ALL MY STUPID ******* LOCKOUT PROBLEMS and the problem with my clutch not engaging no matter how much i adjusted it.

This was literally my problem for about a year... it was just stretching and moving when i pressed the pedal, causing increased effort as well as blowing master cylinder (and my slave cylinder which i replaced)

FIXED. Mark an odd problem down on the books.

nah dude, i dunno how this happened. This apparently happened soon after i got my new clutch. Something with the increased pedal effort messed everything up.

no dude.

This wasn't a curse, this was a blessing. It alerted me to the problem that obviously was there for some time. I got it fixed.... installed it... and it's like night and day compared to before. the pedal feels... correct.
