Has anyone ever removed this? Trying to see if I can get to the back of where the Lincense plate bolt screws into. There use to be some form of clip so it would lock in place and have the License plate sit firm and tight. I do not remember how the clips went in if it was the back or if they clipped in from the front instead? Anything helps.

You can access it from the back of the trunk. Some models have a cover that needs to be unclipped off.

Ok. Gonna have to check that out. The trunk lock looks like it could be in the way. Thank you
