The Lexus RX330 projectors are great and perform similar to the TSX projectors, but cost less.

Swapping the OEM lens with our custom RX300 lens, the output is improved significantly, and for more information
RX330 - CustomLightz - The HID Retrofit Specialist

We sell the RX330 for $130/pair shipped.
The custom lens is $80, but if you purchase the projectors simultaneously there is a $20 discount.

Thanks,
Bjorn

Thanks for the input Gonzo. What he just said, the 9006 bulbs do not work with the RX330. The RX330 like most HID projectors utilize D2S bulbs. In other words, the bulb type used for most HID projectors is D2S.

Hope this helps

Labor for retrofits for the FG/FA is $300. (taking the headlight apart, cutting the reflector, mounting projectors, sealing the headlights together, use of Nissan OEM headlight sealant, and if requested paint, removal and/or replacement of amber inserts)

They are comparable but if width is absolutely crucial I'll try to get exact details.

can you use E46 shrouds for those Rx projectors?
That should work. Depending on your configuration a shroud extension may be needed.

Sound's like a good deal...:thumb:

Glad to help, just to elaborate, the "paint" included in labor generally refers to standard type colors (black, silver, gunmetal, ect) More exotic paints like color matching Fiji Blue, ect may have an additional charge.

I'll get dimensions this week.

As of right now I don't know if we have any pictures of RX330 FA/FG headlights. Aesthetically the look will be based on the shroud. As far as how it looks during construction, I'll see if we have any pictures handy but I don't know that we do. I should be able to get you pictures of the RX330 and TSX side by side for comparison.

Just a note, if you want the best possible light output, the S2000 projectors are your ticket, but they are more expensive. The TSX projectors, while comparable to the RX330, still have a slight edge in output. However the RX330 is unquestionably a great value.

heres a pic. inside source..
difference between tsx nd rx

i went with the rx, please tell me i didnt make a wrong/cheaper decision

as you can see in the pics, i was told as i can see that the rx projectors give u a better output, towards corners. has a better color modd option .

never mind the difference betwen the actual projector, pic is soo big, i cant attatch it.. but here is the difference output..

Generally the RX330's do have the most potential as far as color (though that requires a clear lens). If a very colorful cutoff that is someone's sole priority then the RX330 is a good choice and has the added bonus of being the least expensive single xenon model that still maintains great performance.

The TSX projector however tends to have slightly better output and a slightly wider beam which partly contributes to its higher price.

The S2K of course has the best output and a very nice wide beam, but as a result is very desirable, in high demand, in low supply, and commands the highest price.

nice info. What projector has the absolute widest beam pattern? Also, which has the overall best performance? My soon-to-be-wife will probably be getting a new car at the end of this year (I'm pushing for a CR-V) and I want to get her headlights retro'd since I love the look so much. I want a really AWESOME performer though... something that has a nice wide beam pattern and projects far.
