Hey guys, I'm thinking of moving from Ontario to BC next year. I have a question for you guys. Does ICBC cover your mods and such under the basic autoplan or do you have to get additional coverage for them? The insurance system in BC is much different than in Ontario where insurance companies don't even want to cover you if you have modded your car in anyway. But I heard that in BC car mods are ok with ICBC?
We have a $5000 value limit, anything over that you will need to buy extra insurance. Also they only cover things that are bolted to the car.

How long did it take to install? Did you have to replace any of the clips? How are the svs bulbs in the rain? :) and how much did you declare when you brought them back?
Started around 3pm.. finished almost 11pm.. I actually had a hard time removing the front bumper lol! i guess the first time i took it off.. i took off the wrong clips and had to figure out the right clips to remove.. Some of the clips were damaged but i ended up replacing most of the clips underneath since i bought 8 new clips.. So with the new clips it would be easier to remove the front bumper in the future if needed..

I just declared $200 for the headlight... :) I split the payment on paypal so that i could print the receipt with $200 value so i could show them a receipt if they ask for receipt.. Border didn't bother to ask for receipt so it was good! :)

By the way, joonjoon did the retrofit for me :)

SVS is pretty bright and yellowish so far? We could actually compare soon since we have the exact same setup exept that i'm using morimoto ballast... I would love to actually have a real life comparison of the svs and cbis! I almost went with CBI but after seeing a pic on hidplanet that has the svs and cbi side by side.. i just decided to go with svs.. :)

I also notice that when my projectors are on.. there's like dirt/spots on the lens? Is that supposed to be normal? It appears to be from inside the lens

How much was shipping to joonjoon? And did you ship from pt Roberts or here?
Also, how long is the warranty with him?
Dust on the lens certainly wouldn't be a good thing

I shipped it from point roberts! :) I paid $50 to get it shipped to joonjoon and $80 to get it shipped back to point roberts with $850 insurance... how about yours?

Warranty is i think 1 year? He does a good job so hopefully there will be no problems.. :)

I guess the dust on the lens is pitting? Is that supposed to be normal? I guess when i have the projectors on.. you would notice that there's dirt on the lens from the inside... does yours have that?

So what you're saying is that your lights cost you $850 yet you only declared $200?
Dust and pitting is not the same
