Hi there

2010 civic si

-left indicator lights blinks at a fast rate
-both front and rear blinker operational (no lights out)
-all lights oem

-when I turn headlights on, left blinker doesn’t make the “clicking” sound .

-if headlight off - clicking sound is present

-right side - normal flash speed. No problems with clicking sound

any thoughts ?

Seems to be a sporadic problem. I've checked threads and many were resolved by changing the bulb. It might seem that it is ok, but change it anyway. Our Civics do not have a traditional turn signal relay, so don't bother looking for it. Hope this helps.

I too faced a similar problem couple of times with the left side indicators. No bulbs fused. And the problem vanished after driving for a few minutes on both occasions. Maybe one of the bulbs was causing the problem.

Thank you for that. I will buy two new bulbs for the left and change it

You are correct it is sporadic.

It happened on Monday and tuesday. Went away Wednesday and is back today.

I know front headlights you have to take bumper off etc, but can I reach in and change front bulb for turn signal without issue ?

Appreciate the help

Yes, there is a way without taking the front bumper off.

Anyway, it could be a bad bulb, bad connection or the MICU (car computer, but not probable). Like I said, it's been fixed by simply replacing the bulbs.

Hope this helps!

Don't know of you got it resolved, but if a blonkrks every blinking to quickly; 99% if the time it’s just tellinh you that the bulb is about to go out.

I had similar problem. And checked my ground thermal under the battery. It was really dirty with oil and dirt. I cleaned it and tighten it and went away.
