KENSUN HID Kit, having issues, wondering if anyone has same kit?

So I looked around a lil while online for the right HID kit. My buddy has the
"pro design" kit from pro civic in 9006. She paid 200 bucks for it and its specifically for her car. Well me being stingy wanted to find a cheaper kit. Was looking on amazon at hid kits with good reviews. Everyone i read about the "kensun hid kits" was positive and they were only about 75 bucks with shipping. So i bit and got em for my 09 si. However when me and a buddy attempted to install em we noticed they did not go in like a 9006 bulb clicking into place. They rotate like they are going in but do not "lock". I am wondering if it is because they are a cheaper kit or the fact they were not specific to my year civic or to one car at all. I believe they are just a universal "plug & play" deal which may have been my downfall. Just wondering anyones input on these or a similar experience or if anyone on here has the same kit and i'm just retarded. any help would be sincerely appreciated.

checked on that. Says 9006 right on the base of the bulb. Still cannot get that damn thing to lock in correctly. the tabs seem kinda poor quality and didn't want to break em. I usually don't cheap out on stuff either. Probably just save up for a phillips kit or one you guys recommend.

Wast of gas lol... It's stupid that the item has to leave the state and then come back... At least that's what I experienced with a PS for my RC chargers... Store was 3 hours away... and took two days to get in my hands
