Kelford Cams

Anyone have experience with these? Particularly on an NA platform. I was thinking about getting these stage 1 or 2. My idea is to get these, probably stage 2 to run as I am now with i/h/e/fp, and eventually I will run a turbo setup. Will these cams do well for both of these setups? And what other items would I need to get them installed and running correctly?

You have to to make ajustments to a cam gear thats covered up... so run car test cam angle ... take cover off make adjustment... repeat process untill desired results is obtained ;)
O ok I see. So exhaust cam angle adjustment is not possible with flashpro like the intake side is?
Yep only the intake side ;)
Been doing more research and am still torn between the TSX or 179a's. Any of you guys get these cams in and have some dyno results?!?
Wish a dyno was closer to me. But soon maybe!!
Once I'm done tuning, Bloomington here we come!
Does anyone know if the 179-a's from a RSX type-S can be run in an Si motor without problems?

Thanks.
make sure they are type S cam ie k20a2 or k20z1 then you should have zero problems as they're compatible.
this is why we have cam angles :D
Cam angles dont matter when you idle at 1100rpm and AT BEST, you're at -14psi, and at worst -7.9psi.....

I do have to mention I have a 72mm throttlebody, so I'm sure I lost a slight amount of pressure due to volume added.
Strate Loss,

Thanks for the clarifcation that Type S cams from the A2/Z1 motor will work with the Z3 in the Si.
Bump to see if anyone has got around to a tune or dyno. A read a couple of post that some guys were going to do it. Thinking about getting these cams and wanted others input.
two kelford cammed si's. one with fullrace 3" and one with XLR8 3"

I've got a mint condition, unused set of 179a's for sale, slightly cheaper than you'll get from a store! Check out the FS thread:

Sorry to bump an old thread but is anyone running kelford 179b cams with a oem tenisoner?

why are you idling so high? I have a 72mm throttlebody and i'm idling at 900 rpms... MY vacuum at idle honestly isn't bad either. Less vacuum than stock cams but still completely fine.
