kelford 179b stock compression

I just ordered the 179b and I might be contemplating on maybe returning them to get a the drag cartel 2.2. I want to run the stock compression on the k20z3 and my aim is to get around 250whp. I read that the drag cartel 2.2 is more aggressive than the kelfords but i could be wrong. A lot of people have the 179a so i'm posting this thread in regards to the 179b. Anybody with 179b chime in ? =D

Mods I bought
skunk2 intake manifold
j37 tb
supertech valvetrain 92lb springs
09 tsx tct
buddy club pro spec exhaust
plm header with hfc
injen cai
hondata flashpro
600cc injectors

Cartel 2.2 Endurance Specs:
Intake: 13.5mm Lift /.266° Duration @ .050
Exhaust: 12.2mm Lift /.260° Duration @ .050

kelford 179b Specs:
Int, 274/280 @ 0.1mm, 210/220 @ 1.00mm 8.30mm/9.00mm Valve lift
Exh, 268/278 @ 0.1mm, 200/210 @ 1.00mm, 7.55/7.55mm Valve lift

not sure about the kelfords don't know much about them, but everyone says drag cartels are great! If you get them either for that matter dump the hfc, you need to have low restriction out and lots of air in. So maybe even a 3.5 intake to compliment your j37.
if you are wanting 250whp you need to get rid of the plm. i switched over to the skunk2 megapower and i gained TONS of power everywhere. also you need to upgrade your intake to a 3.5 intake. i suggest skunk2 or hybrid-racing
If you want good power with cams you can't use a PLM header and you DEFINITELY can't run a catalytic converter. The cat is going to rob 7-10 whp on a camshaft setup.
Will alpha benefit just as megapowe or is that like having plm in this scenario?
the alpha header will benefit over the plm.

From what ive been seeing any stage 2 can will work with kraftwerks kit, however i could be wrong.

thanks for the response guys! yea i have been looking at the hybrid racing 3.5 intake and megapower for a while now but my budget is kind of constrained. well hopefully amazon has an easy return policy for the kelfords because i searched all day yesterday and i don't think any is running the kelford 179b for the 8th gen
i rather not make the k20 compression a 12:5:1 because it would probably cost about the same as a k24
damn killin almost 15 peak+ just by switching to skunk header over plm nice!!
From what I understand, the new 179-B has a very agressive secondary lobe, as Kelford has aimed it as more of a road race cam. I am not sure if it will make the car idle rough at all but this is just something to think about. Correct me here if I'm wrong.

Yup stock compression and they are great!
I have the 179b with 12.5 in my k20. I recently tuned and made 250hp and 175tq..
Oh and the idle is a bit lumpy, but if you have a full race/thermal exhaust it's not noticeable..
That's my boy. That sounds like a blast to drive with that much torque lol.

Do you have the dyno graph to post? I'm REALLY curious to see it.
^ Yeah, I've heard the new 179-Bs have a badass midrange but I have yet to see a graph

just out of curiosity, why do the afr's look like that? the plm header is in the 12's and the s2, 13's... as high as 13.7/1 in fact

At that point and time. my tune wasnt complete, i believe me and my tuner needs to do a little fuel adjustment since the weather is changing.
