Hey guys! Whoever has/had a K&N SRI for the R18, I got two questions for you:

1. Do/did you like it?
2. Any heatsoak problems?

but i had a fujita ram air
in the winter it was nice
in the summer i got heatsoak
it sounded great!
but....
i lost low end torque and i think it may have been leaning out at about 6000-6500rpm

thax, that helps cause i keep going back and forth between getting a sri and cai

the K&N product has a built in heat shield so it may not be as bad as mine
the Fujita didnt have the shield.

dont waste your money on an intake for an R18...


i have the KN for the Si, and i have it cobb tuned...it certainly isn't world shattering...

makes me realize modding this thing is a waste... save money, get use out of the car, and buy a powerful luxury car....
