Nothing from anyone that I've seen yet. I'm waiting to hear something from Amsoil or AMS. I never completely trusted something as skimpy as the K&N to really filter like it needs to. MHO.

Anyone have any thoughts on the air flow path? Looks to me like there are a couple 90 degree turns right out of the filter box to get to the intake.

I forgot where I read it, I beleive it was TOV but they said they used a Ford Focus K&N drop in filter and it fit the same measurments as the 06si airbox, I'll find the thread and link it. I even think they dyno tested it and gained 5 extra HP too!! let me do a lil search

ha! I found it!..>>click

Well here is the outcome of my trip

My first run was with the OEM filter
175.2 HP and 132.1 TQ

2nd run with K&N
178.8HP and 135.5 TQ

LAST RUN w/K&N
181.4 HP and 136.7 TQ

I must say this is the best $41 I have seen and spent.
Authur @ Dynolab was MUCH impressed with the outcome.
My scanner doesnt work so I cant show you the graph.
It's like any other Si dyno with the big dip in the middle.
.
LudegarH22A7 found one that fits in the slot
33-2819 it fits the Ford Focus

i doubt your getting 6whp from a drop in filter.. i have never heard of that before..

Even CAI only give you 6-8 on average.

well a dyno won't help much after thinking about it for just a drop in.. it'll probably be 1-2 hp which could just be the mapping from the ecu
