And they're f'n awesome. TONS of power from 6500+, and very smooth power from 3k to 6k. Under 2k they definitely lack torque compared to stock cams or the go power ksi's i had before. They have a pretty smooth idle at 950 rpms, but under that it's pretty rough but sounds badass lol.

And obligatory vids :D

Iam using those same kelfords 179b in my car. They are bad ass, and as woot692 said they have little to no torque at the bottom, but it's unbelievable at the top. I don't know on stock compression tho, as iam 12.5:1. I made 245hp and 175tq on those cams, and no iam not on a k24 block, still using my original k20 motor.

I am in no way trying to dog on you as I'm not making numbers that i should be for my mods, but it seems like those are not as good of numbers as it should especially with 12.5:1 cr, any way I'm interested in your build as I've have wanted to get a fresh bore and up compression on my k20.
He might be lacking another piece of the puzzle, but that torque is awesome, i guarantee that his setup hauls ass.

I bet the dyno his car made 245 on mine would make in the 230's.
what are you doing installing new cams?
Look at the picture...
yea it wasnt loading for me but is now, how did that happen?
I dunno, ask kelford, they've blamed everything under the sun except their camshafts.

They blamed my ******* oil for christ's sake.

Have the new exhaust cam sitting in my car right now to install on Friday night. Gonna be a long night lol.
Reminds me of that one time, with GO Power

haha yeah but 3 weeks after i took this picture the damage wasn't getting worse i monitored it.

already swapped in a new cam literally finished up 2 hours ago hehe.
If honda wouldn't have run that coolant hose across the side of the timing cover... it would take about 1.5 hours less time to swap a cam lol

Nah that's fine, I also though it was low, but I think numbers aren't as important as how the car feels and pulls against another . I've raced other civics with k24 , other built k20 and I've never lost, ran b series turbo won those too..so as long as the car feels /pulls to your likings ,iam not interested in numbers, iam sure that it can make more numbers but the car is fast as is..

I was tuned by Jeff Evans , using dynapack.

Ok holy ****. I purchased a replacement exhaust camshaft from kelford to swap out and put the new one in.

The car isn't the same car. At first i thought it was in my head but nope, i'm faster than my friends car whom i was dead even with before.

I dunno wtf is different between the exhaust cam i took out and the new one but man i wish i did.
