the seller bought it at auction, so unfortunately he couldn't answer all of my questions. i did find some good info in the carfax though (dealer maintained up until 63k miles, no accidents, etc)

tried posting the following in the paint subforum, but have been getting a "database error" for 2 days now. tried in firefox, chrome, and safari, same issue across the board. is there some sort of limitation for which subforums i'm allowed to post in because of my low post count?

i installed some new rain guards, and the exterior molding was scratched when the 3m from the old guards was removed with fingernails.

will any basic flat black touch up paint do the job? i appreciate any recommendations. the bad part about a new paint job is every little scratch bothers you!
