:yeahthat: its dumb that they didnt make both at the same time
when did i say your plastic valve cover couldnt hold 10 psi :rotfl:
i thought you did a while ago. meh. i know your skinny braindead friend def was saying i was a "retard" for believing a plastic IM could hold any boost....

but hey whatever. its in the past

wingrun, i would seriously consider giving up on autoFP for a while. its gonna be super buggy. its much more complicated than the manual ecu.

haha, not necessarily. I'm also not as bug-hesitant as you. Plus I can wait awhile...I've got a few more months yet on my bumper-to-bumper.

My real worry will be the tranny. Jo, any comments in that regard? Have you even investigated something as absurd as an auto turboed R18?

No yet but i start to make some research!!! Jummm turbo r18 interesting!!!!!!
i can't wait to see someone get this kit with the 6262 hahah that thing is big, it's probably gonna rape that motor turn it inside out and rape it again
KT has a big 16g (I think) and I'm going to run a 2871r. They are like medium size

But I have to ask JO, now that I'm thinking about it, the 6262 won't reach full spool intil like 5k, and these engine redline at 7k. I can see alot of people upgrading to that 5857. Thats a mean turbo.
and who may you be talking to???
This guy
VVV

???

They took measurements and created a thread..

..am I missing something?
With a good flashpro tune it should be at least at 300whp.
woww sounds nice...... is it even possible. lol.
i believe kt is running 260+ last numbers i heard. so yea, its possible
my plastic IM on my d17 turbo didnt last very long.. toilet bowl shaped intake. it cracked bad.

we will never find out now for sure
she is so daym secretive. I know its not her fault but HBAR is staying quiet
not a huge kt fan for this reason

yea but what boost? and what kind of plastic? there are millions of kinds of plastics, some are real strong

Actually I just read her thread, HBAR left her out to dry just like the last company. SO there will never be a HBAR kit.

first one cracked on 9 psi.. second cracked the same on 18psi.

and im assuming that the plastic they used on the d17 is the same there using on the r18.

maybe its a diffrent kind of plastic.. but i dont see why they would change the plastic when the d17 was very successful for its purpose. gas mileage and economy.

hopefully the r18 intake mani will hold up for a while tho.

Yeah I read it too, but the problem was we only read her side. She was "left out to dry" by two places and we know only what she has told us.
hey at least got FP from her. ill be happy with the FR kit im sure
but if its too pricey, this jotech kit may be doing the trick lol

at least until we have some upgraded internals available, and maybe some LSD lol
