So I'm looking at this picture wondering if this front end could fit on the coupe.

The side fenders seem to be the same as the CSX here so I figured the lights should fit?

Could I take stock CSX lights, install them to my coupe and then get a type R replica front end installed on my coupe?

Just an idea I'm throwing out there...

huh? y would u want both?

search the forum. coupe front end is not a direct bolt on on sedan
Sorry, I guess I misunderstood. The reason why I said the fenders too is because I thought maybe the front end would fit if I also had the side fenders, but since you said the bumper won't even bolt up anyway, I guess theres no point.

Thank you.

if theres one thing ive learned, if you have enough $$$ such things are possible.
Hehe, yeah well... If I had enough money, I'd just import a Type-R or something. :)

Anyway, now I feel bad about posting this up. Finding some info on page 8. Thanks guys!

no it will not.

and the fenders are 5mm wider than the stock csx/jdm fenders.
Have you attempted it and failed? Otherwise keep your opinions to yourself. No it may not be able to be done by just bolting it all together. But it is very possible if you know how to fabricate and aren't afraid to cut a little bit.

Trust me I came from the minitruckin' world where pretty much nothing was bolt on. You had to take the time to make things fit, cut, weld, fabricate, whatever. Just because it's not bolt on doesn't mean it won't work.

Haha, show me where he said he doesn't want to cut and weld? It might be vaguely implied but he didn't write that anywhere. Also anyone can say that they've tried it before, but can you provide proof? If so I'll get off your case and give you the respect you deserve, but until then......

Exactly. It might require bending, welding, changing the front end of your car, etc etc, but with enough money, it can be done. But at that point, you might as well just get a sedan and do it. No offense to coupes, but sedans are sooo much sexier when done right. The body of the sedan just flows better with the Type R than a coupe would (yes, I know.. OPINION and speculation, but I think the coupe is too chubby to do it right).

From the Sickyute conversion(using CSX part) the front end could go on a coupe but you would have to cut the fender behind the wheels.

Please take the bickering to PM's

Anything is possible if you have the right body shop and the money. But realisticly...no. If u willing to pay...yes.

I have seen a 2000 Si at hot import nights a few yrs ago with a full Lexus sc430 front end conversion, and Is rear conversion. So yes...if u got the cash...its possible :thumb:

I agree. I am Canadian, however, and I do not have access to a SI sedan. I am not willing to get a non-SI.

Thanks everyone for the information, I will think it over with what information I have now and keep you posted.

No - he just compensates for your e-incompetence.

Like someone said fifteen posts ago - anything is possible. It's metal for crying out loud.
