sometimes the cai pipe might touch another pipe, but that shouldn't be a problem unless that pipe has hot air in it which it shouldn't. You should be ok

You don't need to cut the wheel well, with my injen cai I got it in with out cutting. It did get a scratch on my cai but I had a black one so I used a black sharpie to color in the scratch.

What about the AEM CAI? Read some online instructions and they say you have to trim the wheel liner. Can anyone clarify this?

I'm sure it's the same way, you can push the wheel well in an inch or so but I had Injen not AEM, compair the cut out sizes for both AEM and Injen
