yeah not really sure correct if im wrong but with regular bolt ons 237whp on natural aspired motors and can handle up 300 horses i read on the site it shows dynos too
Crazy, that sounds like a good investment...
in for results?
Cams are going to be useless until we can properly tune the car. OP says the IPS cams work with stock ECU....well Skunk2 cams and Brian Crower cams also work with the stock ECU.
skunk2 and bc not yet tested
so you're saying they made cams specially for k20z3's? last i know we can use any cams out in the market.

please provide source.
Cams are for an A2, just like Skunk2 and Brian Crower. Yes, they will fit a Z3 motor, but we are still stuck with the inability to tune the cam angles. They are however, fantastic cams TOV used them on their 8th Gen Si and got some spectacular results, with the tuning assistance of Doug from Hondata.
when you say just like skunk2 and bc exactly same specs cause 1500 compare to what i can get the bc cams+retainers+installation is dif not as much as these ips are going for

What I meant was is that those cams were designed to work with the A2 motor found on the RSX-S. I didn't mean the cam specs or the retainers and springs that come with the cams. Unfortunately, the IPS cams are not specific for the K20Z3, which is what some people may have been thinking.
ok its just from what i read and herd is that the others have not really been tested with the whodata reflash and these specific cams ips stage 2 have been and work great not to full capacity without tuning. cause k20z3 have still very little tuning options.
i heard they add 25+ whp... best cams on the market right now.

You want to post a link? As far as I know IPS, BC, Skunk2 has not released any cams for the K20Z3.

Listen to these guys...they know what they are talking about.

With tuning yes...they have huge potential.

TOV should have done the cam installation as their last engine modification. Reason is because their Project Si had AEM CAI/DCRH/DC Exhaust/ and IPS K2 making only 224 HP (Dyno Pack). With a little tune from Hondata, it went up to 231 HP (Dyno Pack). That 231HP is equivalent to 210-215 WHP (Dyno Jet) and the 224 HP is equivalent to 205-210 WHP (Dyno Jet).

My Si with I/RH/E makes more power than their Project Si. Even the trap speed shows it. Their Project Si trapped a highest speed 101mph while my highest was 103mph.

This led me to believe that the installation of the cams cause their Si to lose power or didn't do anything to enhance the car's performance. Hondata can control cam timing, ignition timing, rev limiters, VTEC, etc. The only thing that is holding them back is Fuel tuning. Hence, if you install cams and notice a lost of power, it's normal, but with a tuning solution, expect a lot of gains. The same thing happened to TOV's Si.
