This is probably a repost, sorry, I tried googling forever.

New owner of a 2007 si sedan with stock radio, no nav. Does honda have a cable that will connect my 4th Nano ipod and allow me to control with stock radio?

If so does it work well and with steering wheel controls, display, etc?

Am I better off going with the honda cable or one of those aftermarket ones kits?

'09 and later non-navi model has iPod integration.

There won't be any cheap/easy way to do it.

You could buy a stock navi unit for $600-700 (see them for sale on this site often) and put that in. That's the only way I know to get the iPod integration you're after.

My '08 Si has an AUX input that works with my ipod Touch. I still have to control everything with the ipod itself, but sound quality is good. I also have NAV option. I really prefer to use the memory card instead of the ipod. I have an 8meg CF card that you can store a ton of songs on. Love it!

Yeah I dont' have nav or usb option. It's a 2007 civic si and I also have the aux port. I don't like using that though, my goal is to use a the radio controls to control the ipod. So much easier. I got spoiled with my last car where I had it setup like this with all aftermarket parts.

I'm searching for something that works with stock radio because i don't want to hack this car up with aftermarket car audio.

I'm pretty sure honda makes a cable that plugs into a connector under the console/lower dash plastic. Not sure if its for my year and what exact cable it is though.
