i have an '08 si coupe, lowered on function form type2 with a skunk2 exhaust. i wanna get an intake but dont know which kind i should get and idk what else i should do to my car. does any one have any advice???

Get an AEM intake, short or CAI... Either is good.

Not to be THAT guy on a forum, but there are no less than 400,000 "What intake should I get?" threads on the 8th. All the things you're wanting to find out from other members has been answered many, many times before. All you have to do is look through some of the other "What intake should I get?" threads.
