Installing Steering wheel audio controls

Two cents from me.

1. The bolts under the factory stereo are 8mm.
2. You can use speaker wire if you can't find 18 guage wire.

I did the mod this afternoon in my '06 LX Sedan. Work great!

The scariest part was the removal of the airbag. Once she left, it was fine.

3. The old cruise control switch to part out.
4. Proper tools.

I had grade 10 electronics, too. But that was 20 years ago.

It goes on the back of the audio unit.

It takes a couple of hours. Remember: Don't rush. Lay down some drop cloths just in case.

So easy, a caveman can do it.
