I have an R18. I am purchasing a catback SI exhaust mainly for the axle back, but I am curious to see pictures of how far the midpipe needs to go to match up to the rest of the R18 exhaust. (I'm not recieving it until this weekend) I have a welding station where I work and the resources needed to fit the tubing, I am just curious to know what all needs to be done and how far I need to go.

Thanks
Zach

Its my understanding that the axle backs match up identically. Are you wanting to use the si mid-pipe as well? I think it would be easier to just buy an aftermarket mid-pipe for your car and use the si axle back if thats what your mission is?

I heard the Megan Midpipe worked well with the OEM Si axle back. There's a couple people on here I'm sure that has that set up. OR as Br3TT said, get an exhaust shop to fab you one.

But, if I were you, just bolt the axle back up to the stock r18 midpipe. Works and matches up fine. No change in performance, just a little more deeper, mellow tone. Perfect way to tastefully mod an r18 if you're trying to stay somewhat stock. :)
