has anyone been pulled over for having a "modified exhaust"......cuz i got pulled over last night and i live in tampa,fl n the cop told me its illegal to modify your exhaust in tha state of florida....so he gave me a 76 dollar ticket....wat do u guys think i should do go to court with it or pay tha ticket...let me kno.....

I was almost ticketed for this bullshit as well. I believe this law needs to be changed. The night I was pulled over for this I was downtown where a lot of the local tuner crowd hangs out... the cop walks up to the car and says, "I'm going to start with you..." (can you say, quota?) basically he's saying "you'll be the first one to be ticketed for your rice exhaust tonight" (even though I have performance race-header & full cat-back exhaust). Thank god the cop was ex-navy and I'm a member of the Air Force, we ended up BS'ing and he let me go with a warning and even wrote down the code for me to look up. He said to drop in a silencer and I wouldn't even be bothered.
