Steel wool that's "0000" fine No need to wet the steel wool, just grab it and start polishing the glass with it. This gets rid of water spots as well as most small, stuck debris that's on the glass (like dead bugs).

Probably a silly question, but I'll ask it anyway. The white vinegar is safe to leave on the paint? Don't have to rinse it off afterwards or anything correct?

I tried 0000 steel wool (worked the best), 50/50 water vinegar solution, clay bar rainex kit, and stoner spray.

I got all the really bad spots off the window, but every pass with the wipers kinda fogs the glass esp at night. Not sure why, never had a car do it before.

I replaced the blades and it also seems to drag on the window in light rain.

Adam's detail spray is by far the best product to use. I just bought a gallon of it. You won't be disappointed.
