datalog

I am learing too man, but you just press the datalog button when you have your flashpro unit hooked up to your civic while driving.
You will see the datalog light blink solidly when it is recording. It has a faint rapid blink when it is not recording. Or you can record while driving with the laptop by pressing a key

I just did my very first data log this morning. So yes, you save it to your local laptop first, then along with the actual calibration you used, you send both the calibration file and the datalog file to your etuner. It is also recommended that you note the temperature, approx. humidity level, weight of yourself (and passengers), any/all mods in the car, your elevation (or zipcode), etc. - basically anything that would make the datalog more relevant and therefore the analysis/tune more accurate.

Like you guys I'm a tuning newb. I've been trying to datalog, have my Flashpro hooked up, and the power light is on/green. I've pressed the datalog button and assumed (we all know what happens when you do that) the datalog light would come on when it was logging. It's never come on no matter how long I've had the button depressed, or how many times I've pressed it. Once again, I apologize for my idiotic newbness, but any help that can be provided would be very much appreciated. :hiding:
