This is my first new car, and im planning to keep this car for quite awhile. I've never really worked on cars before but I want to start modding it but i'm afraid it might affect the reliability. For now, all i want to get is I/H/E and MAYBE the reflash. And also, how risky is it to have a CAI since i live in Oregon where it rains like crazy. I have an Si and i currently have 9000 miles on it.

Thanks in advance.

i don't see those mods affecting your reliability at all except the cai if you suck up too much water in a big puddle. rain is ok, its just the puddles that you underestimate that can lead to it. other than that it is no different in my view than stock.

IHE will not affect reliability much. And don't worry about having your car hydrolock with a CAI. Unless you plan on having your car submerged in 2+ feet of water, you're fine. Get the mods, and be happy with your ride :thumb:
