I got an 07 Civic LX and it has rust on the rear fenders. Would be nice if there was a fix for it. My dad used the anti-rust black paint can from canadian tire. But still has to put the silicon thing idk wat it is.

I have it too. Real fix is to cut the area and weld in new metal. That will only buy it time though.

There is a fix for it - media blasting - typically glass bead these days. Then, if there is any metal left, prime and paint. Anything that says “Apply it right over the rust” is pure BS. Well, OK, it might help you get another year out of your old snow shovel.

Or, yeah, cut it out and weld new metal back in. But that is an art.
