I tried twisting it around to get it off so my engine bay will have a cleaner look and I didn't have any luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :)

Just use a sawzaw or dremel and cut it out. No seriously you should be able to take it off by turning it toward the passenger side and pushing back toward the drivers side, then pull it toward the front of your car and it should come out, maybe, atleast thats how you do it on the other two cars ive owned.

Also it seems like your missing some plastic clips

And not to be a ****, but does the plastic wear out on civics like yours? Have you tried using some stuff to make it shiny black again or is that just the picture. (talking about the trim below the windsheild)
