People complain when Hondata doesn't release Kpro/Flashpro. When Hondata finally releases it, people still complain. That blows my mind. Sorry companies don't adhere to your own arbitrary release time frame.

Damn, I wish I kept my turbo, its less noisey then my supercharger, and now with a full tune, damn this supercharger is gonna be a hell lot louder then it is now.

i just joined a few weeks ago because i was expecting hondata to release their fully tunable solution for the 06+ si and they now have.

i've been tuning k-pro for a few months in the south florida area. i've been doing it for free just to get more experience but now i'm going to be charging. i made a thread on clubrsx in the south florida for sale section.

i'll make a similar thread on this forum once flash pro is released to the public.

I for one am very happy for the community, it will be alot of fun to tune our cars. Not as risky as a high strung turbo application IMHO.

Not to mention I can't wait to read the threads and see the #'s.

its funny though that it took hondata 4 years to make a reflash based unit when they basically have one sitting there at their place that you use to do the reflashes, all they had to do was put it into a unit. and it took cobb no time at all to make up a unit. but ehhhh w/e

and yes they will be locked/married to a specific ecu just like the flash programmers for other cars. it will only accept one ecu at a time. in order to tune another car you will most likely be required to unmarry the unit before doing so; which will most like return the ecm to stock form.

its not that it took them 4 years to do it. it just took them a while to formulate a useful method to stop you guys from hacking or pirating their work. Cobb already had similar setup from subarus so it was much easier to port over prexisting equipment.
