not always, but normally...especially for street cars. there are exceptions to this general rule. this is why the big boys smoke mad tires...at a certain point if you have enough traction the time in which it takes in increase the inertia of the driven wheels can actually be decreased by quickly spinning the wheels to a high speed and then feathering the throttle as the wheels catch.Spinning tire = loss of traction = longer 1/4 mile.
I am sure you already knew that though.
I was talking about launching, not shifting at speed...which was off topic, but what's new?I cant do that in 4th gear. I need the flashpro to do that though.
if that's their sinister plot why the F would they tell you about the flashpro before it was ready for sale...use your brain dudebut i still think its because they are selling reflashes and want to keep selling them while they can.
now that's a good question. freebee or raincheckdid hondata specifically say they are giving a free flash pro that day. i mean i haven't done any research but i got the feeling that the winner of the freebie will be given a ticket of some type and have his mailed to him or something
from hondata.com 'There will be a prize of a free FlashPro for the Civic Si that dynos with the most power.'yes they did.
they're not my friends...I've never met Doug or any of the hondata staff in my life...I live on the east coast and don't get out that way very often. (vegas is between here and there) sorry for being rude but what you think is ridiculous, I'm sorry. as far as retaining customer base, you might be onto something there. the release has nothing, however, to do with continuing to sell reflashes, that's an illogical ideaonce again, IMO to keep the Hondata bandwagon fanboys from running to COBB. No need to be rude, we can all be douche bags, im just saying what i THINK is happening, think of it as a business stand point, instead of Hondata being a personal friend and thinking im making a personal attack on them...
hsnap: :rotfl:I'll take you up on that. $500 says the first FlashPro will ship in June. Put your money where you mouth is.
