Spinning tire = loss of traction = longer 1/4 mile.

I am sure you already knew that though.
not always, but normally...especially for street cars. there are exceptions to this general rule. this is why the big boys smoke mad tires...at a certain point if you have enough traction the time in which it takes in increase the inertia of the driven wheels can actually be decreased by quickly spinning the wheels to a high speed and then feathering the throttle as the wheels catch.

once again, IMO to keep the Hondata bandwagon fanboys from running to COBB. No need to be rude, we can all be douche bags, im just saying what i THINK is happening, think of it as a business stand point, instead of Hondata being a personal friend and thinking im making a personal attack on them...
they're not my friends...I've never met Doug or any of the hondata staff in my life...I live on the east coast and don't get out that way very often. (vegas is between here and there) sorry for being rude but what you think is ridiculous, I'm sorry. as far as retaining customer base, you might be onto something there. the release has nothing, however, to do with continuing to sell reflashes, that's an illogical idea
