and those of us who bought the reflash the past month can basically bend over and take one for the team. $599 for reflash, and then get $150 discount off the new flash pro and pay another $645 for it and have to send my ecu back to them. Total of $1244 to Hondata in 3 months time. they have just lost one customer.

Hondata is going to piss off alot of previous customers by doing this.

i wonder when it mention 90 second of programming time, does that mean you only get 90 sec to tune each time?

The sales person prolly wasn't from Hondata, because they never say anything like that. It even talks about this in the FAQ's on their site, i think.

I'm not going to jump to any conclusions or make any decisions until this and the Cobb both have been thoroughly tested. Flashpro will obviously have more tuning capability...but not as much as Kpro did?

at the same time, Hondata optimized that reflash specifically for that system...what makes you think a local tuner could do any better for you. If you're saying that you would have never bought the SC at all if you knew this was going to come out because you would have gone turbo that's like saying I never would have bought mortal kombat if I thought that they were going to come out with a mortal kombat II. If you don't want your SC anymore, sell it, I'm sure someone will take it off your hands. Yeah, you might be taking a small loss, but that's part of the risk in investing your money when you're tuning.

Well, you still took a risk when you did not see an official announcement. You are lucky they are even offering a credit.

the app, is similar to kmanager, any tuner should be able to tune your car with flashpro.

I don't think it would've been a realistic expectation to have most or all your reflash amount refunded to you. Plus, development rumors have been floating about for the Si version of Kpro for months, years. It shouldn've been a dramatic surprise that they were planning on releasing one. It's not as though they were deceiving or forcing you into buying both.
