Spinning tire = loss of traction = longer 1/4 mile.

I am sure you already knew that though.
not always, but normally...especially for street cars. there are exceptions to this general rule. this is why the big boys smoke mad tires...at a certain point if you have enough traction the time in which it takes in increase the inertia of the driven wheels can actually be decreased by quickly spinning the wheels to a high speed and then feathering the throttle as the wheels catch.

I cant do that in 4th gear. I need the flashpro to do that though.
