If you are looking for a great book that covers all the K series motors and all the variations, this book is for you. The book extensively details features of each K series motor as well sections on modding the K series motor.

There are chapters on N/A mods such as intakes, headers, Hondata and cams. There is a chapter on turbocharging, supercharging and nitrous oxide. Each section within a chapter contains a rundown of the mod and dyno charts of horsepower and torque.

There are good comparisons between different companies that market the same items such as Comptech vs. Jackson superchargers, superchargers + nitrous oxide and hybrid motors using the K24 short block and K20Z3 head with TSX cams.

There is also a great overview of transmissions both 5 and 6 speed with their gear ratios and final drive ratios. At a glance, one can see the different transmission applications.

The book is well worth the price. It can be found at: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_10551_892484_-1_11831

Its a good book. However, there is limited coverage on the K20Z3. Lots of coverage on the other K-series motors. It has great background info, dynos, etc. After reading the book, I really feel like DBW is limiting the potential for our motors!!! (or at least delaying the options)

Good point. There were a number of good articles pertaining to a K20Z3 motor and many of the other sections still apply, notably the use of nitrous, supercharging and turbocharging as well as a header and catback exhaust.

Funny, I just talked to a Honda salesman yesterday who is a real gearhead. He has a heavily modded RSX-S. He said that he knew of a guy who had adapted his FG2 to a throttle cable, thus allowing a host of mods that can't be done with the DBW.
