I'd take the Fiesta over anything in that class hands-down. That is a fantastic car.

I owned a FIT SPORT prior to my Si....loved it - no issues period and my trade in was fabulous. The Fiesta looks alright....very Yaris like!

The Fiesta has better low-end torque so it's good in everyday stop and go driving. I also think it looks better, but the Fit does decent in that class too.

This may be off topic (but still related to the Fiesta), but I'd get the Mazda 2 A.K.A. The Demio...or a Mazdaspeed 2 in that case, if they ever get to sell that version here

The Fiesta looks tons better inside and out. IMO. The Fit Sport reminds me of an older Pontiac with all its gimmicky body parts.

 

All of the handling and braking numbers are bogus if the focus had good summer tires and the fit had all-seasons.

Even the feel of the car is questionable.

One thing I do wonder is whether the fit has the same freaky steering as in the civic. The civic always surprises my friends by how the steering works. I'd imagine a lot of people would see that as a drawback, but you just get used to it.

still, it always amazes me how good fords are in the rest of the world, and how much they suck here.

Also, i don't see why ford would bring this car over and call it a fiesta. The word 'fiesta' when in the context of cars brings to mind horrible shitboxes of the past.
