Ok so my foglights recently just went out. I checked them out toke off my bumper, checked connectors, bulbs, fuses, and I cant find the problem to this. Both are out, high beams work/ headlights work.

So then I take it to Honda. check it out, and they said ground was fine and everything. Then they blamed it on the HID's said that the HID's could of caused the problem by burning up the computer. Some bull crap. So since its a aftermarket part, I got charged 58 dollars. BS. so pissed, what else could it be? could the HID's really burned the computer up?

when you turn on, do you hear the balast turn on. you should hear a hmmmmmm. if not then there not gettin power. also when you turn on, listen under your dash you should hear the relay "click,"

do you have them wire straight to you batt? if so check that. and the fuse for that. also check the fuse under your dash....

hope this helps

ok, I checked my balast they made a hmm. toke them out put in stock bulbs. then listened for the clicks, heard that. I actuallly dont know if they are connected straight to the bat. and where is the fuse for that? I checked my fuse under my dash, its good. its the 20 fuse right?

well if you hear the balast then there gettin power, so its not a fuse or power. check your connect to the bulbs. make sure there on there good. and make sure there plug up to the right spot and the right way.

i dont know ! lol ahaha maybe a wires lose. i replaced my bulbs with oem ones. I had piaa yellows in
You're using an HID system. Did you take the HID ballasts out and plugged in the normal halogen bulbs? If you did and they work, then the amp connectors that connect the HID ballast to the HID bulbs are not tightly sealed. You have to push them all the way in until you hear a click.

According to Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act they have to prove your HID system kills your fog. They cannot just say it "may" cause problem here and there.

Most of the time they just follow manual to fix your car. Aftermarket stuff make it difficult for them to follow the manual. Instead of taking time to work on it, they simply deny the claim.

legally, yes. but its more difficult to agrue that then its worth. honda has lawyers that are edjucated on their cars that are avaialale at any time that are paid to do this.... you, have to go out and find, hire and and pay a lawer to argue this.

over what? fog lights? lol

So the stock bulbs work....correct?

The HID ballast work and hmmmm so you have power to them but the HID bulbs do not light up....correct?

Probably it is the HID bulbs that are out or the connection between the HID bulbs and the ballasr is bad.

At this point the Mag. Act doesnt do anything and Honda is correct since the stock fogs work fine and the HID system is causing the issue.

ok the problem.

My fog lights don't work.

The issue.

Dealer said my HID caused my fogs to not work because they could of burned my ecu .. Some bull stuff. And it's not under my warranty so I payed money.

So I checked if it was my HID. Toke them out and my fogs still don't work.

are the HIDs in your fog lights? or they are saying your low beam HIds are effecting it?
if so, honda is wrong

to go about your fog lights getting to work. check your fuses. and check for power at the bulb socket. if your fuse is good, and there is no power at eth bulb, you might have fried teh wiring harness.

then is the question...did you use a relay harness to wire up the HIDs to the fog lights?
