I had to do some searching around to figure out if I was going to be right, but there is a variation of the Civic that has a 1600cc motor. Unfortunately, it seems, that is the only one available in Egypt. I'm sorry. I take it, it isn't possible to order another model? Perhaps something built to foreign specifications?

Honda produces different engines based on different countries etc.

1600cc

your dealership should have the 1.6 liter engine
Europe, Japan, the US, etc all have different versions of the Civic.

Egypt/Singapore both have a honda civic that is rated 1.6 liters and 140hp
known as the R16. Here is the info for Singapore
http://www.honda.com.sg/civic_spec.htm

The United States has a 1.8 liter engine known as the R18. We also have a
2.0 liter SI rated at 200hp called the k20z3

Malaysia has the R18 as well.

Look at the window sticker of the actual car you're buying. It should say
on the top line what the engine specifications are. From posts I've read on
the forums, - This is what someone said about the civic in Egypt:

"The civic in Egypt is JDM civic 100% made in japan with 1.6I-VTEC logos
everywhere on the car & it's engine is marked with R16A engraved in it"

not necessarily. I'm wondering if that 92 you're seeing isn't kilowatts or something? it says 92(125)/6500, and then 103(140)/6300. the second set of numbers should be right- 140hp at 6300RPM, which would mean 103kW @ 6300 RPM.

I just checked with wikipedia. it looks like the egyptian model is producing 125bhp, if wikipedia and the link atruhondagrl provided are correct. :) this would make more sense than the 1.6L SOHC ivtec producing the same amount as its slightly larger R18 sister.
