I installed a PnP kit last week onto my Si sedan, I've noticed that the output doesn't seem very right so I took some pictures against a garage at a 30 degree incline. My DRL looks messed up too.

Please take a look and let me know what you think?

Do I need to aim or are the bulbs seated wrong?

I came from a Mazda 3 with projectors so this all looks terrible for me until I retrofit.

THe DRL I don't understand cause 9005 can only go in one way right with the bulb socket pointing down?

I'm wondering if it's a bulb problem.

And do you have a link on how to aim these headlights?

Thanks

- Find a [near] perfectly flat surface with at least 30ft of room and a wall
- Measure the distance from the ground to the middle of your projector bulb (Mine is 25")
- Mark with tape on a wall that distance minus 2". So, 23" for me.
- Back your car up 25' (Distance is from the wall, to the projector bulb).
- Adjust the drivers side headlight cutoff (very top) with mark on the wall.
- Adjust the passenger side headlight cutoff to match drivers side.

I guess I'll have to take off the bumper to reseat the bulbs, I installed both HID and DRL without removing bumper, the bulbs sit snug I tested it a few times too.

But thing is I can't see how it seats in the hole.

Try to get a pic tomorrow.

I looked today and tried to re-seat them. I think its' because the bulbs are scratched up as they're from my old car.

Should my lowbeams be raised or lowered?
it's def. Not because the bulbs is scratched lol.... But from the 2nd group of pics your pass. Side lowbeam could of a tad bit lower. It's really up to you I mean you could raise the driverside lowbeam.... But the driver drl/high beam is def. Off... If you look at it with the car and lights off the bulb will not be center It'll either be pointing up or down.

when i did my hid's, the bulbs weren't facing the same way. the quartz tube wasn't facing the same way as the other one, and i ended up adjusting my hid's to be equal, and in turn, it messed up my drl's. because i had to drop the passenger side all the way down to make my lo beams equal, it made my drl's alignment way off. it was so far down that when i drove in the daytime, it looked like my passenger side drl was off. all i did was rotate the bulbs so that they were both faced the same way, and everything was fine after.

I don't see anything particularly wrong with the output. You pretty much answered your question in your original post. Not using a projector and installing an HID kit will create glare. Certain aftermarket bulbs will have a tendency to output a higher level of glare than others.
