I just installed a no-name HID system on the fa5, 6000k but it was the 9005 kit. Granite it still fits but to me its not bright enough. Nor is the cutoff anywhere near where it should be. Will this affect the lighting of the hid or do i have to adjust the cutoff??

Basically the cutoff is on the road as if it was stock halogen bulbs if that helps, but when in a dark area its as normal as can be:( FYI this was a free kit for a friend that wanted my stock RSX suspension parts lol so i shouldn't be complaining.

9005 bulbs sit the same as a 9006 so it shouldn't be an issue there. Nor should you have to re-aim the lights.
If the cutoff is poor, maybe the bulb is not seated properly.

Otherwise, it's PnP in a stock housing, it ain't going to have a pretty cutoff.
