Hi guys,
I have a 2008 Civic Si Sedan.
Has over 200k miles and i still love taking it to 8000 rpm.
I am putting about $3k into it from shocks, brakes, general maintenance and other glitches it had like loss of power steering and no heat. Did the clutch at 187k
If it lasts another 75k ill think that $3k was a bargain.
Anyone with over 250k?

Thanks

Hello, I own a 2008 coupe si with 199K miles on it. I have own many hondas since the mids 90's, a 89 integra I had i got it to 355K miles and it would kept going but I got tired of driving it. Honda engines will last a long time as long as you stay on top of maintenance, specially if you're going to be pushing it hard. On the k20 engines I recommend every 80-100k miles or less if you push it often to change the timing chain, tensioner, and guides. The tensioner and guides wear out and you have slack on the chain, the chain will skip a tooth and then the engine will talk back to you.

Thanks for the tips!
Im keeping the stock springs and shocks but want to get a thicker adjustable rear sway bar.
