WORK IN PROGRESS, NOT YET COMPLETE. BARE HEAD AND BLOCK ARE STILL UNDER REPAIRS BY MACHINE SHOP SO I CAN FINISH WITH A FRESH ENGINE WITH NOT A SINGLE OIL STAIN AND SMOOTH MACHINED SURFACES
To start off, this swap will be completed in a shop, which means, everything is accessible and is easier with a hoist. This is just a general guide if you are trying to complete one your own.
I have purchased a full 2 door Si. This makes it cheaper to do a complete swap. This includes your electrical harnesses, brakes and suspension components.
I have a 4 door LX with rear drum brakes and no sunroof. This makes a good weekend track car as the LX weighs slightly less than the Si by approximately 300lbs.

Engine: stock aside from possible ITBs in the future, depending on my budget on this swap and Skunk2 exhaust
Transmission: Stock
Suspension: KW and camber correction. Fabricated frame braces/brackets.
Brakes: Acura TL Brembo brakes, and rear Si stock disc brakes.

So, here we go.

Donor Car with Engine and transmission almost out

The easiest part of this job is the subframe. Seriously.

This parts car had been sitting for almost 2 years in our lot. So extra heat was needed to get the engine out.

Here is the LX 4door.

I will update this thread once I get the block and head back. While waiting, I will be removing the Dash harness and engine harness out of the 2 door SI. Will keep you guys posted!!

Block and head came back from machine shop. I guess my $80 for the block does not include washing and degreasing. Its just an inspection of the bores and ensures that there are no hair line cracks. Its okay, I'll do a final clean before it goes into the car.
