i have 17x8 35 offset rims and lowered with tein stech, my car is ex coupe. please help me choose tire size to avoid rubbings. and tire brands that are quiet.. post picture of yours if possible..

go with the stock Si size 215/45-17. i have 225/45-17 on mine 17x7.5 35 offset and lowered on eibach pro-kit and i am rubbing slightly when i hit deep dips on the road.

i dont know about how your drop would rub...but since you have 17x8" rim...i would think the stock size isnt quite getting your moneys worth out of having a wider rim...i think a 235/40/17 would be much better. i think it has the saem overall diameter as the stock tires...just about 1" wider though

how about 225/35/17? and any brand that is quiet when rolling? i had falken (cant remember the kind) and they were so noisy...
