Hey guys, my headlights dim slightly and momentarily whenever the cooling fan kicks in. Do any of you get that as well..??

Thanks for the feedback... i'm a bit more relieved now. I do notice that it only occurs when I am idling or at a low rpm state ( <2000 rpm) and no other lights seem to be affected.

Does anyone know the specs for the stock Honda alternator? My experience with electricity and electronics has taught me that equipment that doesn't strain to maintain supply power usually last longer. Maybe a higher power upgrade is in order.

Your lights dim when the fan for the AC turns on. If you read the manual, by factory default the ac is on when your defrost is on even though the ac light is not on. If you don't want the ac on where the defrost is on, there is a thread somewhere how to do it. Plus you will get better gas milage.

the do that because the alternator momentarily produces less output that the lights require
shouldnt happen above idle
