Sorry to hear about your car. But I am glad you got it back. Can't wait to see you at the next meet.Pukuyo said:yup, everything's good. didn't have to pay a dime. got the car back wednesday. oh how i missed that VTEC. since i got it back, it seems the car pulls a bit harder now too. or maybe i just missed driving it. :vtec:
Hmm it is my understanding that it takes 4 weeks (1month) for the paint to properly cure[sp]. After 4 weeks you should be fine to wax.anavrin351 said:be careful about waxing it. Usualy with fresh paint you need to wait 6 months to do anything but wash it. Thats what i was told last time I got a car outta the body shop. The paint hasnt completely hardend...or something to that effect.
yup, i'll be in for sure at that next crazy big meet. i already missed the last few ones.HabaneroGuy said:Sorry to hear about your car. But I am glad you got it back. Can't wait to see you at the next meet.
yup, i got lifetime warranty for the work done by the shop (kirmac). but even if i do want to wax it, i won't, the weather isn't that great to do it yet.marc-o-lishuz said:If it was done properly, it should be cured already - no special treatment to the paint/clear after the vehicle is returned to you. Besides, most body shops have lifetime warranty. If you paint fades/peels/etc, they have to repaint it for you.
