car is bone stock, had the oil changed once. anyway speed dont matter, car has 8k on it. heres the prob, when i gently touch the gas (in any gear at any speed) it makes a really annoying low pitched sound (i have know idea of how to descibe it). it goes away (or atleast gets drowned out) under acceleration. anybody have any clues? i think i may just be paranoid cause i didnt hear it until i read a bunch of threads on here about these cars having gear whine and being rattle traps
I notice a very low-pitched engine sound or louder-than normal exhaust note after starting the car up in the morning and reversing out of my driveway but it goes away. Hard to figure what it might be or if that sounds anything like your problem.
mine is hot or cold and almost always there. im not the type to run to the dealer crying everytime it makes a squeak but its starting to get aggrevating and a lil louder.
Maybe a better description of what's going on? Was it going on before you had your oil changed or just after? Just to be safe, check the oil level in your car. I've seen some scary stuff happen when a distracted tech forgets to tighten the oil drain plug correctly.
it was before, i was just mentioning the oil change part to describe how stock my car was. its been doing it since about 2500 miles. nothiing has changed performance wise, and nothing seems to be wrong with the car just the noise
