After much review, research, and fanfare I decided to go with the KSi cams from GO Power Motorsports. First of all, I'd like to thank the 8th community, COBB Tuning, the fellas at The Un-Official Cobb AccessPORT users community | AccessTUNERS, and mostly Jeff Giovino for providing his insight, thoughtfulness, and consideration when developing these AWESOME cams. Rob and Manny at No Limit Motorsports Import Performance Parts for their time and patience. Enzo from Enzo Racing Enzo-Racing.com and last but not least Reza from FullThrottleNYC, for having the most best deals and prices and all parts for our cars (yes including the SSReplica Header, not has better pricing than Reza!) FULLTHROTTLENYC.COM.

Customer Support:

Throughout my entire ordeal I got nothing but the best support from Jeff (speaking with him many times prior to making my decision) it was good to hear that Jeff was actually running the KSi cams on his car prior to final development and formal distribution. If you can't stand by your product, yadda, yadda, yadda... you know the deal!!! This made feel comfortable. Jeff was very knowledgeable and was able to impart some knowledge on cams and what works on our cars based .

Cam Specs:

272 @ 1mm and .538 lift intake 226 @ 1mm and .410 lift intake small lobes

268 @ 1mm and .483 lift exhaust 226 @ 1mm and .410 lift exhaust small lobes

Driveability:

Now we all know that the dyno is half the story, before I went on the dyno I was able to receive a basemap from Jeff to start my tuning, this was integral for me as it provided me with a known working map that exhibited t 10% increased in HP over bolt-ons and 13% increase in TQ both on the midrange and top-end. Phenomenal numbers to say the least, as I street tuned my car to extract increased performance my car exhibited the following:

1. Idle like stock - you could not really feel the difference, the engine had a more aggressive idle (set to 850, normally at 750 for my IHE tunes)
2. Acceleration - FANTABULOUS!!! My car now accelerates smoothly and there is no loss in power, basically the car feels like it can pull pull (did I mention it keeps pulling forever!). It seems that the midrange is very nice with these cams (it fees like I picked up at least 15lbs TQ on the midrange).
3. The low cam performs smoothly and aggressively before vtec engagement once the high cam is engaged, WOAH NELLY!, basically my car wants to fly but it lacks wings...

Performance:

A little caveat emptor for the readers:

1. 213.1/154.3 had the following setup: Stock Intake with HPS hose/King Motorsports 64mm OEM Throttle Body Bored Out/P2R TBS/P2R TB Gaskets/Hondata IMG/NST Pulleys/Ingalls ETD "Stiffy"/Vibrant RH/HFC/Vibrant StreetPower Catback Exhaust, NLM Dyno Dynamics

2. 219.7/157.2 had the following setup: Injen CAI/King Motorsports 64mm OEM Throttle Body Bored Out/P2R TBS/P2R TB Gaskets/Hondata IMG/NST Pulleys/Ingalls ETD "Stiffy"/Vibrant RH/HFC/GO-Power KSi cams, Vibrant StreetPower Catback Exhaust, No Limit Dyno Dynamics Untuned Base Map (analysing the datalogs showed that ignition advance was being retarded by 15-25 degrees in many areas, basically, I could barely drive my car because of knock sensitivity). I subsequently street tuned to remove the ignition retard and the car performed very smoothly. Unfortunately, I was unable to finish my tune and No Limit Motorsports because Subies broke the dyno!!!

3. 213/154 (228/165*) has the following setup: Injen CAI/King Motorsports 64mm OEM Throttle Body Bored Out/P2R TBS/P2R TB Gaskets/Hondata IMG/NST Pulleys/Ingalls ETD "Stiffy"/SSR Replica RH/GO-Power KSi cams, Vibrant StreetPower Catback Exhaust, Enzo Racing Dyno Dynamics with Street Tune (this dyno reads 12-15hp 9-11lbs/tq lower than the NLM Dyno Dynamics and other DynoJets in the area hence the asterisk for higher corrected).

4. 225.1/165.3 (240.1/176.3*) has the following setup: Injen CAI/King Motorsports 64mm OEM Throttle Body Bored Out/P2R TBS/P2R TB Gaskets/Hondata IMG/NST Pulleys/Ingalls ETD "Stiffy"/SSR Replica RH/GO-Power KSi cams, Vibrant StreetPower Catback Exhaust, Enzo Racing Dyno Dynamics with Street Tune (this dyno reads 12-15hp 9-11lbs/tq lower than the NLM Dyno Dynamics and other DynoJets in the Area hence the asterisk).

My car with the normal bolt-ons dynoed at 213.1 HP / 154.3lbs Tq at No Limit Motorstport Dyno Dynamics and COBBTuning paired with the cams and upgraded valvetrain I'm now at 240.1/176.3*. That is a 11-12% increase in HP and 13-14% in torque (Please keep in mind that the 213hp baseline @ No Limit Motorsport, point 1 above, did not have the Injen CAI, SSR Replica or KSi cams). I'll let the dyno charts do the talking:

1a. Highest HP/TQ I/Vbrant HFC/Vibrant Exhaust G1 Dyno Dynamics No Limit Motorsports

1b. Highest HP/AFRs I/Vbrant HFC/Vibrant Exhaust G1 Dyno Dynamics No Limit Motorsports

Performance Summary:

240.1/167.3 Updated Numbers!!!

Overall, my car tuned with the COBB AP and the KSi cams performs like a 2.0 liter factory Honda (one with ~120.5 HP per liter!!!). If anyone had any doubts about the performance and tuning capabilities of the KSi cams I suggest you take another look. GO-Power Motorsports can definitely help with accessing the performance of our beloved K20Z3. I'm sure they have a couple more surprises for us in the near future (GO-Power 3" exhaust is next on my list!). +10 for a great set of cams!!! My apologies for jumping between dynos but I would have had to wait a month to finish up my tune (I wasn't having that, :D)!!! I'll eventually be back to No Limit Motorsports for a pass or two, so far I'm very pleased with the KSi cams and my tune. Completed on 2009-09-19!

38MPG on the highway!!!

Best regards,

Rulo

Update!!! 2009-12-26

Finished tuning my car with the following mods: TSX TB Maxbored 70-68mm, GO-Power Ported RBC (69mm port match), RDX Injectors, and GO-Power 3" Exhaust:

Yeah, sometimes in 2nd. I was driving home today like WOAH!
looks like your tuning could use some work.. i noticed only 2 maybe 3 of the graphs look legit.. HP and torque should cross at 5250 i believe something must be wrong on the other ones... either its the dyno or the tune....

Please read the labels accordingly, you may be talking about the HP/AFR graphs (which I have labeled as such: 1b, 2b, 3b, 4b). All graphs that represent HP/TQ cross at 5250 (graphs 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a). That's the beauty about tuning, you always need some work! I'm happy where I'm at right now.
Great information, thanks!
Awesome. Go-power FTW! Jeff Giovino is the man.
you the man! Now lets take it to the track and see what it can do!!!

As long as you are driving it, no problem!!!
Nice Rulo, I missed u on Accesstuners last night.

What valvetrain did you use?

Sorry about that, I was beat last night! I used the GO-Power valvetrain package that came with the special:

GO Power Motorsports

The kit includes: dual valve spring set, titanium retainers, valve stem seals, spring seats.
So is the 240 hp bhp? The cams got you to 225 whp?

If you read the Chronicle of Rulo (COR), you'll see that I went to two different dynos. They are both whp, the only difference is that they are two different dynos one reading lower than the other. I'll be going back to my original dyno, but it's not going to be for a couple of weeks and I needed to wrap-up my tune. Will post as soon as it is dynoed.
