hey all, did you guys ever get pulled over for no reason and the cop makes up bullshit?

well i just got pulled over and the police gave me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt ( but i did) and for not stopping at the stop sign( but i did or i would've crashed...)

This is what happend i made a compelete stop than made a right on a big street and than i got pulled over. So i pull over and park than the cop tells me that i did not stop at the stop sign which i did. Than i deny it and he says that i went over the stop sign LOL? after he asks for my license and registrations so i take my seatbelt off (becuz i cant reach the glovecompartment on without taking it off and he clearly sees me) than i hand it to him. Later he comes back to my car and says thank you have a goodnight. I look at the ticket and i also see the seatbelt ticket i was like wtf by the time i wanted to ask him he already quickstyled it to his car....what a bastard.

what are my chances of winning in court if the cop is bullying me like this? Im going to dispute these bullshit tickets but im afraid the cop will lie to the judge and obviously the judge will choose the cop over me.

nope i didn't sign the ticket and i never signed a ticket before. Yea he should have told me but he didn't he probably knew he was being an ass and probably didnt want to deal with me. I hope this cop gets fired because clearly hes spending too much time f*ing around and not catching the real criminals.

quick solve here if you didnt sign the ticket you were never there. if a cop could hand out tickets without signatures then he could tail someone and get the info off of the license plate and wright out a ticke for anyone so I KNOW YOU CAN GET OUT OF IT

:yeahthat:

although i have heard that you dont have to sign it.

definately fight it though. just keep in mind, accord to the law, you have to stop behind the stop sign not infront if it. keep that in mind. and for the seat belt, just say you took it off to get your registration.

well i took policing in my crim program and rememeber our instructor who is also a police officer say in order for a ticket to be valid the officer must read out the infractions made and have the driver sign off on the ticket acknowledging he did.

If you didn't sign the ticket u don't even have to go to court. That's what you sign for... to promise you'll show up in court before the date they give u. If you don't want to rock any boats, just go, say you never signed the ticket, explain the situation, and they'll probably just let u go.

I've been pull over just like your case a few times before.
and for no reason, the damn cops gave me ticket for this and that being a jerk.

I did not sign the ticket, the cop didn't care and you don't need to.
As soon as the cop issued the ticket, it became a legal document.
you have to respond or else just pay, otherwise, next time when you renew your license, they will make you pay it before issue your drive license, so don't ignore it.

I disputed to the court and the cop show up.
I explain the best I can to the judge and in my case, I won.

I was able to pull off my good ICBC driving records and other helpful informations such as volunteer community service work and Canadian Cubs/Scout leader work I did in the past to prove I am a good and honest citizen.

I was lucky and most of my friends said the judge is basis to the cop side.

good luck.

dispute it please !!!
