Hey, I've been on 8th for a while and I'm looking to step foot into maybe going to some meets. I live in the Fort Myers area. I do travel to Miami most of my weekends though. But I'm not sure where to start. I don't know anyone else with a 8th, so I'm totally new. I just love the cars and I wanna get to know some new people and maybe get some advice on my own ride.

The fort myers thread can often be dead sometimes as I guess there aren't very many people on this particular thread. I know the tampa thread is usually jumpin more so on average than this thread. But I will always check this thread. Especially since you're new and could need help.

no thats a great car that you have man. I loved my Si when I had it. Love it! I didn't have to trade it in but I felt that while it was in fantastic condition and had low miles considering that it was 5.5 years old that it was time. the 8thgen Si is the one to have. Nobody hardly likes the new 9thgen Si's. Ugly in my opinion. The 8thgen Si's are the ones to have.

like I said before, if you have questions about that car in particular, I can help you. I installed the HFP lip kit, the JDM emblem, the Buddy Club N+ coilovers. I did all the work to that car myself. Those Yokohama tires are fairly new too. Got them about 6 months ago.
and I did not beat on that car either. I just drove to work and back.
I used shell 93 Premium gas (ofcourse) in it ONLY! And I used Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30 oil in it aswell with the Mobil 1 extended performance oil filter with it. Good quality stuff is all I ever used for that car.
I cringed at the thought of maybe seeing someone here in town driving it but you seem cool so far so I'm glad.
